Most Likeable Characters

There aren’t many things that the world can unanimously agree on, but every once in a while a character comes along on the big or small screen that is so beloved that our collective adoration for them unites us all.

We think that’s beautiful – so today, the Blueprint are going to shine some light on those individuals.

Here are our picks for some of the most likeable characters to ever grace our screens.

Will Schuester

Glee

Mr. Schue is a man who shows you should follow your dreams even if the world is against you for it. If you want to rap when you shouldn’t rap, rap anyway; want your entire friendship group as an adult to be teenagers then go for it (and make one your best man while you’re at it); you want someone in your choir that isn’t interested, then frame them for drug possession and blackmail them! Don’t stop believin’ kids!

Bev Keane

Midnight Mass

A passionate, loving Christian woman! Bev cares about her community: specifically those who are underrepresented and/ or animals.

Jar Jar Binx

Star Wars

Has there ever been a more successful case of adding a character to a franchise late in the game and having them be the fan favourite? No!

Warren

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Who hasn’t had the fantasy of going into business with your two best friends and having so much fun? Here’s a guy who’s walking the walk!

Bent Neck Lady

The Haunting of Hill House

Need some support in your life? The Bent Neck Lady is always watching over you in your hardest moments!

Hannibal Lector

Silence of the Lambs

Mr Lector is a nice little foodie who puts a pause on his cooking hobbies to help an up and coming career woman! That’s SO nice of him.

Dolores Umbridge

Harry Potter

She’s pink and she’s education focused with the cutest little giggle and a love of kittens – adorable!

Briony

Atonement

Briony stands as a reminder for the cute little siblings and cousins in life and the fun pranks they play on you! How special.

Harry

Love, Actually

Now here’s a man that really cares about his staff AND his family. Nailed the work/ life balance whilst also being a Joni Mitchell fan. What a guy.

President Snow

The Hunger Games

This one’s for the romantics: Corolanius Snow never forgot his first girlfriend and is a devoted fan of the classic ways to show love and broadcast it to the world.

Scrappy Doo

Scooby Doo

… the blueprint can’t even joke about this little terrorist. Death to Scrappy Doo.

Happy April Fools everyone!
